I remember …

Our first grade art teacher had

Ask us to bring an egg shell to class.

Art class was starting

When Dad came to school

And gave me an egg.

I told him that we only needed the shell,

But when I held the egg it was amazingly intact

With no holes or cracks

Yet it was empty inside.

I showed it to my classmates

And all was in awe!!!

It was the proudest day of my Life…

And now…

As the Circle of Life has Turn

And my time has come to be a grade school parent
